When will my new mobile or data plan activate?

We get it – your mobile is your life line. You don’t want to be sitting around too long waiting for those bars to pop in. Here’s what to expect in terms of turnaround time when you’re hooking up a new Belong mobile or data plan service. 

If you’re starting a data plan or getting a new mobile number 

Connecting a data plan or a new mobile service with a new number is pretty quick – usually  it should take no longer than around 10 minutes once you've finished the set up and connect process.  

Once you’re connected, we’ll send you an email to let you know you’re good to go. 

If you’re transferring a mobile number from another provider 

If you're transferring your mobile number from another provider things take a little longer – it’s normally up to a four-hour wait if you activate within Belong’s business hours.  

If you’re activating outside Belong’s business hours it can take up to 36 hours, especially if you started the process on a Sunday or public holiday. Check our business hours here to avoid disappointment.  

As soon as your mobile’s up and running, we’ll send you an email to let you know.
