What is an eSIM?
eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM built into your device. It lets you connect to Belong’s network without a physical SIM card.
What are the benefits of eSIM?
eSIMs provide more flexibility than traditional SIM cards.
You can install them online. You can use multiple eSIMs on one device. That means you can have multiple phone numbers on one device if you like. You can also use a physical SIM card alongside eSIMs.
Can I use an eSIM with Belong?
You can get eSIM with any Belong mobile or data plan. Pick a plan and choose eSIM as your SIM type.
If you use a Belong SIM card for your mobile or data plan, you can swap from a physical SIM to an eSIM via My Account (if you have a compatible handheld device or laptop).
What devices can use eSIM?
Most devices made after 2020 are compatible with eSIMs (or dual SIM, which lets a device use at least two services). If you don’t know if your device is eSIM compatible, dial *#06# on your device. If your device can use eSIMs, you’ll see an EID number that’s 32 digits long. You can also check with your device’s manufacturer.
eSIM compatible devices bought overseas or from another provider may not be compatible on Belong’s network. For more info, read more about device compatibility.
