How can I recycle my old tech?

What you need to do

If you’re living with a bunch of old tech you don’t know what to do with, we can help. We’ve partnered with Mobile Muster to help you recycle all sorts of old technology for free.

  1. Head over to our eParcel request page

  2. Fill out your details and submit the form

  3. You’ll get an Australia Post eParcel label via email: either print it at home or show at
    your local Australia Post outlet

  4. Pack your eligible tech (see below) into a box or parcel – you can send us up to 15kg
    of stuff at once

  5. Drop off your devices and or modem to your local Australia Post outlet

We’ll take care of the rest.

  • Eligible devices

  • Belong modems

  • Mobiles

  • Tablets

  • Mobile batteries and chargers

  • Mobile wireless internet devices

  • Mobile accessories

  • Modems and Routers

  • Home phones

  • Smart watches and fitness trackers

  • VR headsets and accessories

For mobile phones, tablets and wearables: don’t forget to first erase all personal data, remove the SIM and restore to factory settings.

You can also take your old tech to a Telstra store, if you like. Head over to Telstra’s find us page to find your local shop.
