Why is my account in credit after connecting?

When you submit an activation request for your Belong service, it usually takes up to 7 minutes to activate your service.

However, if you submit an activation request outside of porting hours - 8am- 8pm (AEST), Monday to Friday and 10am - 6pm (AEST), Saturday - it can take up to 36 hours for your service to activate.

If you log in to your Belong account at any time before your service is activated, you'll see a credit on your account. Once your service is fully active, this credit will be used to pay your first bill, and your account will no longer be in credit.
